The current version of the installer for ClarisDraw uses technology which allows multiple installation options. While these options can support installation on remote volumes, such as PathWorks volumes for placing Macintosh files on Unix machines, the choice was made to not use this option with the ClarisDraw installer. Therefore it is not possible to install ClarisDraw on remote volumes.

The developers are aware of the desire on the part of system administrators at large facilities to make remote installation possible. This request is currently being considered by the development team.
