Resolving difficulties with MacDraw II Library files which have been converted to ClarisDraw

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

When you convert MacDraw II files to ClarisDraw, any document that contains library objects is automatically converted into a ClarisDraw library. The only workaround for this issue is to remove all the library objects from your document prior to converting it. In MacDraw II:

1. Open your document.
2. Choose Library from the Arrange menu.
3. Select each item in the library and click Remove.
4. Save the document.
5. Convert the file by opening it with ClarisDraw.
