    After installing Mac OS 8.5, I cannot find the PowerBook Setup Control Panel? Where is it?

DISCUSSION

    Energy Saver 2.1.1, installed with Mac OS 8.5, includes the functionality that was formerly present in the PowerBook Setup control panel in previous versions of the Mac OS.

    The PowerBook Setup control panel is no longer needed or supported and should not be used. The PowerBook-specific options in the Energy Saver control panel will not be available on desktop computers.
