    How are the Zip and CD/DVD drives configured for use?

DISCUSSION

    Unlike SCSI, the IDE/ATA bus supports only two devices. One device is set as the master, the other as the slave. In this case, the CD/DVD is set as master and the Zip drive, if installed, as slave. If you install a Zip drive, make sure that it is set to slave.
