Some third party companies have been advertising iMac expansion cards for the Mezzanine connector. Will these cards function in the iMac 266?
DISCUSSION The Mezzanine connector was used during the development and manufacture of iMac. It is no longer needed and therefore has been removed from the iMac 266 logic board. Apple has never spoken of any product plans in conjunction with this connector and discouraged any developer planning to take advantage of it. |
