When waking a PowerBook G3 Series (Bronze keyboard) from sleep, the sleep indicator light glows steadily for a short time before the computer wakes up.

This is normal behavior for the PowerBook. While the LED is on the computer is reloading the power manager code. This provides the information to the computer relative to power management and battery charging. It should not happen every time you wake the computer from sleep but it happens occasionally and is not considered a fault.
