    This article provides two workarounds when using the Newer Technology FireWire 2 Go with Final Cut Pro. In some instances, when the PowerBook G3 Series goes to sleep while capturing digital video, the video image in the Log and Capture window is lost.

DISCUSSION

    There are two workarounds for this issue.

    • Disable sleep in the Energy Saver control panel.
    • Close and reopen the Log and Capture window to bring the video image back into view.
