    Your computer may stop responding if you open a version of the Drive Setup application that is earlier than the one that came with your computer

    This can happen with the iBook, Power Mac G4, and PowerBook G3 Series (Bronze keyboard) computers.

DISCUSSION

    Only use the version of Drive Setup that came with your computer, or a later version.

    Drive Setup 1.8 is part of the Mac OS 8.6 system softare that came with the Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics) computer. Drive Setup 1.7.3 is part of the Mac OS 8.6 system software that came with the Power Mac G4 (PCI Graphics) computer.
