This article discusses Digital Visual Interface (DVI) extender cables and DVI splitter cables. The Apple Cinema Display and the Apple Studio Display use DVI technology.

Apple does not sell a DVI extender cable, nor are we aware of any third parties who are making such a cable at this time. The same holds true for a DVI signal splitter.

Apple provides a cable of approximately two meters (six feet) in length which should support the majority of possible computer and display placement situations.
