The Num Lock LED (light emitting diode) on the Apple Pro Keyboard does not light up as it did on earlier Apple keyboards.

Many applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, light up the Num Lock LED on some Apple keyboards. However, the Num Lock LED on the Apple Pro Keyboard does not light up when applications are opened. This is normal behavior; the keyboard does not need to be repaired.
