    This article explains how to restart Macintosh computers that come with the Apple Pro Keyboard.

DISCUSSION

    As with previous Apple products, it is possible to restart a computer using the Apple Pro Keyboard, even though it does not have a power key.

    To restart the computer using the keyboard:

      1. Press and hold down the Command and Control keys on the keyboard.
      2. Press the power button on the computer.

    You may also restart a computer by pressing its reset button (indicated by a small triangle on or near the reset button itself). If you move the mouse and the mouse pointer does not move on then screen, you have to use the reset button to restart the computer.
