    This article explains how the iMac (Summer 2000) computer can be distinguished from previous iMac computers.


DISCUSSION

    The iMac (Summer 2000) product family has four members; iMac, iMac DV, iMac DV+, and the iMac Special Edition. These are the major differences from earlier iMac models:

    • Apple Pro Keyboard
    • Apple Pro Mouse
    • New colors: Indigo, Ruby, Sage, and Snow
    • Increased processor speed, up to 500 MHz
    • Increased hard disk size, up to 30 GB
    • Includes iMovie 2 (DV and Special Edition models only)
