TOPIC This article explains how applications not optimized for dual processors run on a Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) computer with dual processors. DISCUSSION An application that is not optimized to utilize both processors in a Power Mac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) computer will function just as if it were running on a single processor computer. Mac OS X, and applications written specifically for Mac OS X, are optimized for dual processing. |
