    Mass storage devices that require a third-party driver in Mac OS 9 also require one for Mac OS X Public Beta.

DISCUSSION

    Most mass storage devices, such as Zip Drives, SuperDisks, and magneto-optical drives that require a vendor specific driver under Mac OS 9 may not function properly under Mac OS X Public Beta until the necessary third-party driver(s) become available.
