Your package includes a software update for use with the Macintosh PowerBook G3 Series and the Power Macintosh G3 desktop computers for DVD owners in the United States and Canada.
Resuming movie playback
This software update lets you resume movie playback at the current scene after:
- waking your computer from system sleep
- stopping playback by selecting STOP, then quitting and restarting the Apple DVD Player application
- stopping playback by selecting STOP, then shutting down and restarting the computer
Note:
You must leave the disc in the drive between plays.
Installation Requirements
To install Apple DVD Software Update v1.1, you must have the following:
Software
- Mac OS 8.1 , 8.5 , 8.5.1
- Apple DVD Software v.1.0
- QuickTime 3.0 or 3.0.2, also available from the Apple Software Updates Web page.
Hardware
- Macintosh PowerBook G3 Series or the Power Macintosh G3 desktop computer.
- Apple DVD ROM drive
- Macintosh PowerBook DVD-Video PC Card for PowerBook G3 Series computers, or the Apple DVD-Video and Audio/Video Card for the Power Macintosh G3 desktop computers.
