Apple File Services Server (/usr/sbin/AppleFileServer) The core AFP server application, which is a daemon process. Server Control API Framework (System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ServerControl) The Server Control API framework is shared with QuickTime Streaming server Remote Admin CGI (/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer/CGI-Executables/) A lightweight pass-through process that is invoked by the web server and in turn transmits requests to the Web-Based Admin Server. It also receives the reply from the Web-based Admin Server and transmits it back to the web server, which then sends the reply back to the browser. Remote Admin Server (/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer/FastCGI/RemoteAdminServer) Handles authentication and majority of admin tasks. Remote Admin Java and Image Files (/System/Library/RemoteAdminServer//Documents/) Java classes are used for authentication and password encryption.
