    This article outlines the system requirements for Macintosh Manager's server, administration workstation, and client.

DISCUSSION

    Server

    You can install Macintosh Manager software on a server that has Mac OS X Server installed.

    • Mac OS X Server
    • 1 MB RAM in addition to Mac OS X Server requirements
    • 500 KB disk space (on HFS volume)
    • Ethernet network

    Administration Workstation
    • Mac OS version 8.5 or later
    • AppleShare Client 3.8.2 or later
    • 800 x 600 resolution display or better
    • 16 MB physical RAM (not virtual memory)
    • 2 MB hard disk space (Possibly up to 4 MB additional space required on server for databases and preferences)
    • Ethernet network

    Client Computer
    • Mac OS computer with a 68040 processor or better
    • Mac OS version 8.1 or later
    • 8 MB physical RAM (not virtual memory)
    • 2 MB hard disk space
    • Appearance extension 1.0.1 or later
    • Ethernet network
