TOPIC Do I need to enable IP forwarding to use RemoteAdmin? DISCUSSION To use RemoteAdmin on any segment of the network connected to a multiport Ethernet card, IP forwarding must be enabled on the server (available in the Control Panels' Network selection, Connections panel). If IP forwarding is not enabled, RemoteAdmin can be used by directing the browser to the IP address of the server port on the same segment as RemoteAdmin (no router or gateway is needed this way). |
