TOPIC

You can link two audio tracks to create a stereo pair. Paired tracks are of the same duration; if you pair tracks of unequal length, the longer one is shortened.

Tracks in a stereo pair also share the same effects, keyframes, and level. For two dissimilar tracks, the upper track's information is copied onto the lower track when they are paired, and the lower track's information is deleted.

DISCUSSION

    To create a stereo pair:
      1. Select two audio tracks in the Timeline. You can't select one track of an existing stereo pair.
      2. Open the Modify menu and choose Stereo Pair.

To separate a stereo pair, repeat this procedure to uncheck Stereo Pair in the Modify menu.
