TOPIC

You use the Cache Manager to delete unwanted render files or to free up disk space.

If you run out of disk space, the Render Cache Manager opens automatically, prompting you to delete old render cache files.

DISCUSSION

    To delete render cache files:
      1. Choose Cache Manager from the Tools menu.
      2. Click in the Remove column next to the file name to designate a file to be deleted. If you see an item named Undo Queue in the render cache list, you invalidated a rendered file, by making a track invisible, for example. You can tag the Undo Queue for removal like any other file in the list.
      3. When you click OK, all the files tagged for removal are deleted from your hard disk.
