When updating the NetBoot HD.img file with the NetBoot Desktop Admin for the purposes or installing a newer version of the Mac OS you do not have to separately update the Mac OS ROM file in the Shared Images folder.

The NetBoot Desktop Admin application will check to see if the Mac OS ROM file was modified when changes to the NetBoot images are saved. If it was modified as is the case with the Mac OS 8.6 update, it copies the new Mac OS ROM file to the shared images directory automatically.
