While running the AppleWorks 5.0.3 updater the error message "The default location required for this install could not be found. The install will be canceled." may appear.
DISCUSSION This error message appears if you have moved AppleWorks or Claris components from their default locations. Re-install ClarisWorks/AppleWorks 5.x from the original disks or disc and try applying the update again. This error message also appears if you try to run the updater after your version of ClarisWorks/Appleworks has already been updated to AppleWorks 5.0.3. |
