    This article describes the differences between the ATI Rage Pro graphics chipset and the ATI Rage Pro Turbo graphics chipset used in Macintosh computers.

DISCUSSION

    Both are equal in functionality and performance. There are a few very minor differences between the two chips but they affect only those computers that include support for the AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) architecture. Since the Macintosh computers in which these chips were included do not support the AGP architecture, they are not affected by these minor changes.
