TOPIC I have unsaved changes to a document when an idle logout is activated. A dialog appears asking me if I wish to save changes before closing. When I click Cancel in this dialog, the same dialog reappears. Clicking Cancel will not cancel out of the logout. DISCUSSION This same sequence can also happen when a user logs out normally with unsaved changes. Once a logout is initiated, canceling from a save request cannot stop it. You are given an opportunity to save changes. If you hit Cancel, the Multiple Users environment will continue to keep quitting the application. In effect, a Cancel operation is meaningless. The only options that are meaningful are either Save or Don't Save. |
