    When I try to create a Desktop Printer from the Chooser, everything appears to work as expected, but the new printer is never available. How do I get this to work in Mac OS multiple users panels environment?

DISCUSSION

    Panels users can't create Desktop Printers because they can only be created using the Finder. Using the computer owner account, you can make printers available to all users.

    Printers that are created under a limited Finder user account are available only to that user.
