TOPIC

I'm using Mac OS 9 on the new fanless iMac. While trying to record a voice print, I frequently get the error message: "You may have clicked the stop button too soon. Try recording the phrase again."

Sometimes when I finally make it through the four recordings, an error appears saying: "The variations between your recordings may make your voice print less secure."

    What is wrong?

DISCUSSION

Noise from the iMac's internal disk drive is being heard by the microphone and triggering the "clicked too soon" message.

As much tuning as possible of voice verification has been done. You should just patiently keep trying, and possibly close the door of the room where the iMac is located to decrease other background noise.
