This article notes an incompatibility between QuickTime 4.1 and Final Cut Pro 1.0/1.0.1.
DISCUSSION
QuickTime 4.1 introduces newer DV device control software that may not work with Final Cut Pro 1.0 or 1.0.1. You must upgrade to Final Cut Pro 1.2 in order to use QuickTime 4.1. This is a free upgrade. Please visit
