    A PowerBook G3 Series computer running Mac OS X Public Beta will not start up when an external monitor is connected, and the computer is closed.

DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    The computer does not start up when an external monitor is connected and the computer is closed.

    Solution
      1. Open the PowerBook computer.
      2. Turn the computer on.

    Note: Mac OS X Public Beta does not have a video mirroring feature. Video mirroring allows an external monitor and a computer's built-in display to show the same image.
