This article outlines the system requirements for iTunes 1.0

To use iTunes 1.0 music software, your computer must meet the following system requirements:

Listen to music

• iMac or later computer
• Mac OS 9.0.4, Mac OS 9.1 recommended
• Internet connection for CD database
  

• Power Mac G4 computer with internal Apple CD recording drive

1. Apple does not provide technical support for iTunes 1.0 when used in conjunction with Mac OS X Public Beta.
2. All of iTunes features may not work if you install the North American English version on a computer that has a different language version of the Mac OS.
3. Versions of iTunes for International English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch are available. Brazilian Portuguese, French Canadian, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Chinese, Swedish and Korean versions are expected to be made available soon.
