    You should use Sony 3600 Format EDLs when you export from AVID Media Composer to Final Cut Pro 2.

    Symptom

    When you import Sony 9100 Format EDLs that were exported from AVID Media Composer, an alert box with this message may appear:
      "Error importing EDL."

    Solution

    Use the Sony 3600 Format to export EDLs from AVID Media Composer.
