Q: When Windows 2000 is released, will OPENSTEP 4.2 (or an earlier version of OPENSTEP) run on it?

A: OPENSTEP Enterprise was developed and tested using Windows NT 4.0. It was not developed for, nor tested on, Windows 2000. Apple does not warrant that any Apple/NeXT products released for Windows NT 4.0 (or earlier), such as OPENSTEP 4.2, will work on Windows 2000. Apple does not intend to do comprehensive regression testing of these products on Windows 2000, and does not intend to provide updates and/or patches to make such products compatible with Windows 2000.
