All Apple products purchased in the USA are bundled with 90-day "up-and-running" support. This support is designed to ensure that customers can successfully install products and begin using product features. Additionally, all hardware products (computers, printers and other peripherals) come with a one-year limited warranty covering replacement parts and labor. The telephone numbers listed below are the primary point of access for obtaining support or service. Additionally, the Tech Info Library (of which this article is a part) is Apple's official technical support database, with thousands of articles on Apple products, past and present. Telephon e Product Support Assistance Apple Assistance Center: 1-800-500-7078 Provides up-and-running support for the first 90 days following purchase of an Apple product. "Up-and-running support" includes help with: Following 90 days, customers can access support through value priced support options, such as Apple Support Line (ASL) (1-888-APL-VALU), or through online services such as the World Wide Web, America Online, and AppleFax. After the ninety day period, customers who need to have products repaired under the one-year limited warranty may have a local Apple Authorized Service Provider perform these repairs. Apple Support Line: 1-888-APL-VALU This is Apple's fee-based phone support system. ASL offers the same support services as the Apple Assistance Center for customers whose complimentary support has expired.
