    This document discusses a device driver for the NeXTSTEP operating system, version 3.3. This driver will not work with any version of OPENSTEP.

    An updated BETA version of this driver, version 3.31, is avaiable on Apple's FTP servers at:

    Known Problems

    This driver does not work correctly with the latest version of the BIOS for the NEC Versa V.
    This driver does not work correctly with the latest version of the BIOS for the NEC Versa E. You must backrev to a BIOS version that does not support power management.

    Due to ongoing development and testing of OPENSTEP 4.0, the beta version (v3.31) of this driver will neither be tested on NEXTSTEP 3.3 nor upgraded to "Released" status.
