AppleWorks 6 may display an error when printing or faxing in black and white with an ImageWriter or AppleFAX.

Symptom

Printing or faxing from AppleWorks 6 to an ImageWriter or AppleFAX results in the following error message:

"AppleWorks 6 can't print when color or ink settings are set to Black and White in the Print dialog box. If your printer has other options, change the setting and try printing again."

• ImageWriter or ImageWriter II printer
• AppleFAX

Update your AppleWorks application to version 6.0.4 or later.
