Is Apple Ethernet cable self-terminated? If I don't use Apple cabling, but use standard thin Ethernet instead, will I need a terminator at the end of my network?

When using Apple thin Ethernet transceivers, you don't need to terminate both ends of your Ethernet backbone as the transceiver is internally terminated.

If you use non-Apple transceivers, you may need to place a terminator at both ends of the network.
