DISCUSSION

    Issue #1:
The following issue has been observed using Adobe TypeAlign 1.0.4 with MacDraw Pro 1.0v1: When text objects from TypeAlign are placed into MacDraw Pro (either through the clipboard or by an imported PICT), other text objects created in MacDraw Pro may print in the wrong font or size.

Solution: Select all the TypeAlign objects (which must be ungrouped). Choose Move to Front.

Explanation: TypeAlign objects seem to effect other text objects that are higher in the stacking order, making them take on font and style attributes of the TypeAlign objects. Thus, by moving the Type Align objects to the top of the stacking order with Move to Front, all MacDraw-originated text objects will be lower in the stacking order and unaffected.
At this point, the issue appears to be a TypeAlign issue.

    Issue #2:
TypeAlign objects copied and pasted into MacDraw Pro appear correctly on screen, but print incorrectly, looking like a barcode.

Solution: Save As an EPSF file from TypeAlign, then Place into MacDraw Pro, instead of using the clipboard. The EPSF will print correctly.
