DISCUSSION
In ClarisDraw 1.0, saving flipped text to MacDraw Pro format will cause flip information to be lost in the saved MacDraw Pro file. Horizontal text will become unflipped, while vertical is rotated by 180 degrees.
To reproduce:
1. Launch ClarisDraw.
2. Set font size to 24 point.
3. Create a text object: "This is some text."
4. Duplicate text object twice.
5. Flip horizontal one of the duplicates, flip vertical the other duplicate.
6. Save as MacDraw Pro.
7. Either open the file in MacDraw Pro, or open it back into ClarisDraw.
You will see that the horizontally flipped object has lost its flip, and the vertically flipped object is rotated 180 degrees.
